CURATOR LOTTE PUSCHMANN
ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT
Max was born in 1984 in Italy and grew up in Venice. In 2010 he graduated from the
University of Applied Arts in Vienna and lives and works in Vienna until today.
Piva's work can not be attributed to photography or painting in the traditional sense.
Although he photographs forms and motifs, the resulting color palette is further processed
and used as a basis for cautious deconstruction. The previously created is destroyed to
give way to something unforseeable.
Time and transience are central topics in Max's work, as well as in the work "NOW".
